Hi, my name is Takisha (I know that’s not what you were expecting... story of my life... lol) most people call me Kisha. I am professional portrait photographer living in beautiful Gilbert, Arizona. I have two amazing children that I adore! I love animals and am a mom to a cat, 5 chickens, and a paint horse named Willow (seen here and you will see her in many photos… sometimes even as a Unicorn)! Sometimes I think I’m crazy to juggle all these animals… lol
I’m outgoing, creative, generous, enthusiastic, strong, and at times well organized. I am a romantic at heart. I also have a knack for inspiring others.
I started my career in 2008 in Maryland and I feel so lucky that I get to do what I love. I took some time off to be a mommy to my two kids but, I was always busy photographing them! I am always learning new skills and techniques whether by trial (no errors with art), webinars, workshops, or books... I am always learning! I pride myself on my attention to detail and the ability to work with people of all ages and animals.
I intend to deliver images that you will fall in love with! I believe every picture I take should be frame-worthy. If you've been searching for unique portraits, look no further - you're in the right place! I look forward to creating wonderful memories for you!
My Style:
I am in love with natural light and color. It’s fine to keep things simple and timeless but, I love stepping outside of the box. I focus on my clients and their emotions. I do a mix of “in the moment”… LOVE those candid shots and posed photography.
On a Personal note:
I am not your typical girl next door, my look often changes... mostly my hair. I love FASHION and I have run out of room in the closets and dressers because of it! Some of my favorite brands are Free People and Anthropologie, and I love finding one of a kind vintage pieces. I have always been an “artsy” person and I feel the need to be creative. I've even taught myself how to sew and I am always crafting! I love the outdoors and going on adventures. I will also dance anywhere! I love food… Yes, I’m a foodie! But, most of all I love spending time with my family.
